Bottle Cutter Review

This bottle cutter is a small contraption that can make your life easier if you need to cut bottles. It can be used for so many things. If you have pretty wine bottles or other empty liquor bottles, or if you have sparkling cider bottles (for those that don't drink alcohol).

There are a lot of things you can make, for instance, a vase, chandeliers, candles, cute pots for small herbs or flowers, oh man there are a lot of things to do with a cut bottle. If you search Pinterest for "cut bottle crafts" or "cut wine bottle projects" you will see pages and pages of ideas!

Here is an example of a wine bottle chandelier (from Pinterest):

Not only does it leave the bottles out of the landfill, you can use them as gifts, or home decor.

They especially look good using different colored bottles and strings of lights. It gives the area a really nice ambiance to it and sets the mood.

This bottle cutter takes some time to get used to, and it really only scores the glass, and then you have to take it through a process of heating and cooling to get it to "snap" evenly. It is something you want to do outside, as it leaves glass dust around it, and that would not be good to do inside (in my opinion, based on how often I vacuum and sweep, hahha!)

You can buy it here for less than $20. It is small so it won't take up much room in your garage workbench or tool area!
