The good thing about this is that these utensils will be within easy reach while you are cooking, and you don't have to go rummaging through drawers looking for the right kitchen tool.
However, they are pretty bulky. The handles are large, and so you would not want to store them in drawers anyway as they'd take up too much room.
It does make a good gift for a college student starting out (if you can afford it) or a wedding gift for a newlywed couple who are just getting set up in their new home. Another option would be using it as a great housewarming gift.
The colors are black and white. it is made out of nylon which is heat resistant to 410 degrees F, which is good if you use nonstick cookware. I don't use nonstick cookware like teflon because of how bad it is for you, how toxic it can be when scratched, so I use cast iron, ceramic and stainless steel.
I actually prefer stainless steel utensils, instead of nylon. But that is what I grew up with and so that is probably why I am used to them and have that preference.
I do like the design of the handle for one reason only -- if you set them down on the counter, the head doesn't touch the counter. So when you are stirring a pot or scrambling eggs and need to set the spatula down, you won't make a mess on the counter and you won't contaminate the spatula...
