Amazing Adaptogens to Nourish Your Adrenals

Amazing Adaptogens Herbal Tincture

Too many people, mostly women I see it happen to, are overworking themselves. They are taking on too much, working to provide an income, taking care of their family, doing the household chores, and trying to be a good friend to their friends and neighbors! We only have 24 hours in a day, and we need to start taking care of ourselves! When we don’t take care of ourselves, and stress continues on and becomes cumulative, we can get adrenal fatigue. I have experience with this, in fact, My adrenals crashed and I had late stage adrenal fatigue, where my body wasn’t producing barely ANY cortisol! (This formula wouldn’t be good for cases like mine at its worst). Instead, this is for people who are toward the beginning stages of adrenal fatigue and are wanting to help their body cope with stress better, and nourish their adrenals.

Adaptogens are specific plants that can help heal and alleviate stress and fatigue. If you feel like your stress levels are at an all-time high and your ability to fall asleep is being impacted, then you need to make this formula a part of your daily routine! This adaptogen formula is great for adults to take every day. It may be ok for teenagers to take during times of stress, but not every day. I just don’t like to think about teenagers having to deal with all the stress, it breaks my heart to even think about. So let’s focus on using this formula for adults, men or women, who are taking on too much and need to start nourishing their bodies.

Here is a list of the ingredients in this amazing adaptogens formula:

Ashwagandha: An adaptogen. It is used to restore health to the nervous system and eases stress and mental exhaustion as it promotes mental clarity and improves memory and stamina. As a tonic for the elderly and to promote growth in children and enhance athletic performance, it also promotes recovery after illness and during convalescence and has great use in various chronic diseases involving inflammation.

Astragalus: A classic energy tonic that improves physical endurance by helping the body adapt to external stressful influences. Has been used since ancient times in traditional Chinese medicine as a warming (yang) tonic. Thought to control body fluids such as excessive sweating, night sweats, and relieve fluid retention.

Cordyceps: Cordycep Sinensis has been known to boost oxygen flow to muscles (especially after exercise), as well as increase energy and prevent fatigue. Cordyceps also may keep blood sugar in check by mimicking the actions of insulin. It also may help fight inflammation as well as have benefits to your heart.

Holy Basil: Also known as Tulsi, Holy Basil is known for its therapeutic benefits when it comes to fighting the effects of stress. It has a rich history dating back 3,000 years ago to ancient India. It’s long been considered an “adaptogen” and medicinal, sacred herb in Ayurvedic medicine. Many of its protective effects are due to its rich concentration of phytonutrients. Historically, it was used as medicine and still is today due to its anti-stress effects that promote balance throughout the entire body (including in the immune, reproductive, central nervous and cardiovascular systems). It also works to control your body’s cortisol production.

Licorice Root: Commonly used for adrenal insufficiency, corticosteroid withdrawal, hypoglycemia and protection against cataracts in diabetes. Inflammatory conditions also benefit from it’s use such as allergies and autoimmune disease, lyme disease, and protects against carcinogens. It will soothe gastrointestinal inflammation and irritations such as GERD, gastritis, IBD, and ulcers. For rheumatism, muscle spasm & cramps, and joint inflammation it can be used both internally and topically.

Panax Ginseng:Ginseng may help stimulate physical and mental activity in people who feel weak and tired. One study revealed that ginseng showed good results in helping cancer patients with fatigue. Also can boost energy, lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, reduce stress, promote relaxation, treat diabetes, and manage sexual dysfunction in men.

Rhodiola: rhodiola is a promising and relatively benign treatment for a number of mental health conditions, including stress, neuroprotection (“cognitive stimulation” and improvement in “cognitive deficiencies” and memory) and mild to moderate depression. It is also beneficial in chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia syndrome. Rhodiola is also a useful adjunctive treatment in attention deficit disorder (ADHD), since it activates cognition and tends to improve accuracy, alertness and attention.

Herbal tinctures as medicine

Why are tinctures a preferred method of taking herbs? Because tinctures are potent! You don’t waste your money on pills that have been in the manufacturing process for months / years and lose potency! With an alcohol base, the tinctures pull out all the medicinal benefits of the plant, and preserve them naturally for you! They don’t lose potency over time.

With that being said, they are in a non-gmo vodka base. Which is fine for most people. But some people prefer to avoid alcohol in all forms. (even by avoiding real vanilla extract) and we support that choice. These tinctures aren’t for those people. Because of the potential for bacteria to reside in glycerine tinctures, we have decided to only offer vodka based tinctures. These herbs are edible and considered safe for most people. Some people may be allergic to certain herbs and should not use them. It is always best to consult your doctor before using any herbal product if you are taking prescription medications or have a health condition.

INGREDIENTS:  Ashwagandha, Astragalus, Cordyceps, Holy Basil, Licorice, Panax Ginseng, Rhodiola and Non-GMO Vodka

DIRECTIONS: Take 10-30 drops 2-3x per day in juice or tea. You can take directly in your mouth if you can handle the taste. Because this might give you energy, avoid taking within 4 hours of bedtime.

Genuine Authentic Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces

It took me awhile to find a trustworthy supplier of authentic Baltic Amber. I have always wanted to offer them on my website when considering new products to add, but couldn’t find a good company to work with. I am glad that I finally did! And there are 5 different "colors/styles" of Baltic Amber Teething necklaces to choose from!

These necklaces are worn to reduce pain from teething discomfort including excessive drooling and fever. They are 100% authentic Baltic Amber from Lithuania. Genuine Baltic amber.

How to tell if it is authentic Baltic amber?

There are a lot of fakes around and so I wanted to add this quick salt water test to show you how you can be sure that these are real and authentic.

Salt Water Test

This test is extremely easy and effective. All you have to do is mix two cups of warm water with a quarter cup of salt in a bowl, then stir the mixture until the salt has completely dissolved. Once you have done this, place the piece of amber in the solution. If the piece of amber floats then it is indeed authentic amber.

Hyperactivity Control (ADHD) Herbal Formula is Now Available! Great for Kids!

This hyperactivity control (ADHD) herbal tincture may help address symptoms of ADHD in kids and adults and help with focus. It is filled with a variety of herbs known for their nootropic effects as well as promoting cognitive health and brain function. It has some good nutritive herbs in it as well. This tincture is ok for your kids to take. It was a friend’s kid who had issues with ADHD that triggered the desire in me to create a formula for him. For kids 12+ you can take the adult regular dose. For kids 6-12 take half the dose. And for kids 3-6 take 1/4 the dose. Here is a list of the amazing ingredients in this hyperactivity control formula:

Bacopa Monnieri: Bacopa monnieri is a perennial herb with nootropic and other benefits — and very few side effects. Known as Brahmi in traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine, Bacopa benefits are said to be many. It’s been used to improve mental clarity and treat ulcers, indigestion, tumors, and mental problems.

Studies show that Bacopa can enhance human memory, reduce stress and anxiety, balance neurotransmitters, protect neurons, work as an antidepressant, and provide other cognitive enhancements. People also use Bacopa for ADHD, dyslexia, Alzheimer’s dementia, and to reduce inflammation.

Ginkgo: Improves brain metabolism of glucose and oxygen. Promotes blood flow to the brain to improve memory and concentration, cognitive & brain function. In managing Alzheimer’s can serve to enhance cerebral circulation, promote memory and cognition, act as an anti-coagulant and anti-oxidant. It’s strong antioxidant effects can increase energy and be used in allergic inflammatory reactions. Useful in peripheral vascular disease and restricted blood flow for any reason. Can inhibit platelet aggregation, relaxes blood vessels and improves their tone, and can be use topically as an anti-inflammatory.

Gotu Kola: Gotu Kola is also a tonic for our blood vessels and connective tissue.   As a systemic anti-inflammatory, it is helpful for autoimmune conditions.  And it has a reputation for relieving depression, anxiety, and expanding consciousness.

Green Milky Oats: Milky oats are the oat tops harvested when they are in their milky stage, during which the oat tops release a white, milky sap when squeezed. This stage, which lasts approximately one week, occurs after the oat begins flowering and before the seed hardens and becomes the oat grain we eat as oatmeal. Tincturing the milky oats while fresh preserves their bioactive potency. Alternatively, milky oats can be dried and used as a nutritive tonic, and are a beautiful addition to tea blends.

The entire plant is rich in minerals and trace nutrients such as silica, magnesium, phosphorus, chromium, iron, calcium, alkaloids, protein, the vitamin B complex, and vitamins A and C (Holmes, 1997 and Berger, 1998). Regular consumption of an infusion of dried oatstraw and dried milky oats is an excellent way to incorporate vitamins and bioavailable minerals into your diet. The calcium and magnesium in oatstraw help build strong bones.

Along with vitamin B, calcium and magnesium also help soothe and strengthen nerves. Oats are considered one of the best remedies for “feeding” the nervous system, particularly in times of stress and in the case of nervous system weakness or exhaustion associated with depression (Hoffman, 2003), overwork, or emotional trauma

Lemon Balm: Nervine: acts on the nerves. Sedative: calming agent. Mild Antidepressant: relieves feelings of depression. Mild Antispasmodic: reduces voluntary or involuntary muscle spasm. Carminative: gently calms the nerves. Diaphoretic: Induces perspiration. Lemon balm is a relaxing diaphoretic as opposed to a stimulating diaphoretic. Antiviral: destroys or suppresses growth of viruses, generally by supporting the immune system. Antioxidant: prevents free radical or oxidative damage. Lemon balm is a wonderful herb for multiple health conditions and was once considered “an herbal cure-all”. It is most commonly used for stress, anxiety and depression due to its uplifting, yet calming tendencies. Especially when it is combined with other calming herbs like valerian and hops, it helps to reduce anxiety and promote sleep when insomnia is an issue. It’s tasty too, which helps make it that much more appealing when you need an emotional lift!

Pine Bark: Pine bark extract may provide some added benefits for you if you struggle with high blood sugar, pre-diabetes, or diabetes. It also is a good source of vitamin C (the cure for scurvy) as well as numerous phytochemicals, natural plant compounds that support better health. The “all-stars” of the group are proanthocyanidins, powerful antioxidant compounds (more potent than Vitamin C and E) that provide a wealth of added health benefits.

If you’ve been struggling with forgetting small details – like where you put your car keys or what you’re supposed to pick up for dinner – you may be suffering from the early signs of age-related cognitive decline. Stress, poor diet, and lack of sleep can all contribute to sub-optimal brain function, and while diet and exercise are fantastic for boosting healthy brain function, so too is pine bark extract. New research shows that adults over the age of 55, supplementing with Pycnogenol over the course of one year, showed superior results in brain related tasks compared to placebo groups. The researchers believe the benefits stem from pine bark extract’s antioxidant effects and ability to reduce oxidative stress (associated with poor diet, high stress, lack of exercise, etc.)

Rosemary: Rosemary is a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which are thought to help boost the immune system and improve blood circulation. Rosemary is considered a cognitive stimulant and can help improve memory performance and quality. It is also known to boost alertness, intelligence, and focus.

Mental Clarity Brain Herbal Tincture (Extract) for Brain Fog, Memory Loss and Overall Brain Health

This mental clarity brain herbal tincture may help address symptoms of brain fog, memory loss and overall brain health. It can be taken up to 3x per day, but it might make you more alert so if you have trouble sleeping, you probably don’t want to take it around bedtime. It is made of high quality herbs, some of which I have grown myself. Here is a list of the amazing ingredients in this hyperactivity control formula:

Ashwagandha: Is used to restore health to the nervous system and eases stress and mental exhaustion as it promotes mental clarity and improves memory and stamina. As a tonic for the elderly and to promote growth in children and enhance athletic performance, it also promotes recovery after illness and during convalescence and has great use in various chronic diseases involving inflammation. It will aid bone degeneration, rheumatism, joint pain and neuralgias and can be used topically for wounds and swelling.

Gotu Kola: Gotu Kola is also a tonic for our blood vessels and connective tissue.   As a systemic anti-inflammatory, it is helpful for autoimmune conditions.  And it has a reputation for relieving depression, anxiety, and expanding consciousness.

Ginseng: Panax Ginseng may help stimulate physical and mental activity in people who feel weak and tired. One study revealed that ginseng showed good results in helping cancer patients with fatigue. Also can boost energy, lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, reduce stress, promote relaxation, treat diabetes, and manage sexual dysfunction in men.

Lion’s Mane: Studies have found that lion’s mane mushrooms contain two special compounds that can stimulate the growth of brain cells: hericenones and erinacines. Additionally, animal studies have found that lion’s mane may help protect against Alzheimer’s disease, a degenerative brain disease that causes progressive memory loss. In fact, lion’s mane mushroom and its extracts have been shown to reduce symptoms of memory loss in mice, as well as prevent neuronal damage caused by amyloid-beta plaques, which accumulate in the brain during Alzheimer’s disease. Lion’s mane mushroom also appears to boost mental function. The ability of lion’s mane mushroom to promote nerve growth and protect the brain from Alzheimer’s-related damage may explain some of its beneficial effects on brain health.

Studies suggest that lion’s mane mushrooms may help relieve mild symptoms of anxiety and depression. Animal and test-tube studies suggest that lion’s mane extract can reduce the risk of heart disease. When lion’s mane extract is mixed with human cancer cells in a test tube, they cause the cancer cells to die at a faster rate. This has been demonstrated with several types of cancer cells, including liver, colon, stomach and blood cancer cells.

Peppermint: Peppermint can have notable effects on the human brain by enhancing cognitive functions. It also will inhibit mucous secretion temporarily because of it’s menthol component. It can be used whenever there is excess mucous secreted, helping also with it’s antispasmodic and carminative actions. Is one of the best carminatives available, having a relaxing effect on visceral muscles and relieving intestinal colic and flatulence. The volatile oil acts as a mild anesthetic to the stomach wall which help with feelings of nausea during travel or pregnancy.

How to Nebulize Colloidal Silver

One of the most common questions I get asked, especially during this time of COVID-19, is how to nebulize colloidal silver.

Since I sell the most potent form of silver that exists in the world, and it is 100% pure colloidal silver, it works great to nebulize.

I know there are protocols for hydrogen peroxide and iodine and saline, but this post is specifically for JUST nebulizing colloidal silver. Specifically, Nutranasilver. And do it separately, don't combine, even with saline. Just distilled water and Nutranasilver. And if you don't have distilled water, and need to do a nebulizer treatment, purified water, filtered water, etc. will do until you get some distilled water. I have heard it is hard to find in some places (distilled water). So do your best until you can get your hands on some.

Here is the nebulizer I use

Here is a nebulizer on Amazon that can get to most places overnight, although it is expensive!

Here are the replacement extra masks for the nebulizer that I have

(In case you want to do food grade hydrogen peroxide, here is the kind I have. I have not had the chance to use it yet though).

(In case you are looking for high quality iodine, this is what I have and use)

Here's the protocol:

Because the reservoir in each nebulizer is different, the main concept is to put the drops of Nutranasilver in the reservoir first, and then add some water to it. I have found that I can't fill my reservoir more than halfway. Sometimes I only fill it 1/4 of the way (I eyeball it). Because it takes SO long to nebulize when it is full. Over an hour! I don't have time for that. Your nebulizer may be quicker, or even longer. And the reservoir may be larger, or smaller than mine.

1) For adults (and kids, aged 12+), start out with 30 drops in the reservoir (per treatment). You can work your way up to 60 drops in the reservoir, doing it 3x per day. For kids aged 3-11, do half the adult dose, and for kids aged under 3, do 1/4 the adult dose.

2) Put the drops in the reservoir as explained above. Add the water. I would suggest filling it halfway with the first treatment until you become familiar with how fast or slow your nebulizer takes.

3) This whole reservoir full is one treatment. With the silver, I recommend doing up to 3 treatments per day, 6-8 hours in between treatments. You CAN do other treatments in between (for example, hydrogen peroxide or iodine, etc). But just plan on doing up to 3 treatments with Nutranasilver

And a video showing my nebulizer. Sorry for my lack of photography and videography skills!

How Long Should Someone Wear The Detox Pads For?

The first thing to say regarding the question of how long someone should wear the detox pads for, is to reassure everyone that there is no wrong or right length of time to wear the detox foot pads.

A person can wear them one time and get benefits. There will be less toxins in their body even after one use. (Pretty cool, huh?)

The length of time it takes for a detox foot patch to "come clean" in the morning varies so much between people. My first time using the foot pads it took me about 7 months on the arches of my feet to come clean. I was in my late 20s and lived a pretty clean lifestyle. At least I thought so! (I rarely ate fast food, didn't drink soda, sugar was limited, and I didn't use toxic makeup). But in the area of my toes, I have never EVER seen them come clean. That area correlates to the head in reflexology charts. And I have had a LOT of issues, from hearing loss, TMJ issues, dental work (I have gotten all my metal fillings removed over 15 years ago and my mouth is doing a lot better now), migraines, I even had a tumor in my head 10 years ago. So that is understandable, I think.

Let's take a few scenarios that some customers have asked me about specifically.

If you are middle aged and lived on the standard American diet for 35-50 years, and you work in a factory or a beauty salon around chemicals all day long.... then you may NEVER have the detox foot pads come clean in the morning. Even if you used them every night for YEARS. The reason? Input and output. Not only has your body had YEARS to store toxins, and become sluggish, you are continually adding more toxins to your bucket.

And speaking of that bucket, I like to use the example of everyone having a bucket -- they can be all different sizes... it can be the "toxin bucket" and one person may have a huge bucket and won't feel any symptoms until it starts to overflow with toxins.... so they may smoke 2 packs of cigarettes per day and eat McDonald's every day for lunch, and so on... and on .... for decades. And then all of the sudden their bucket is overflowing and they start to feel chronic symptoms come on. Then they refuse to believe it is their lifestyle... because after all, they have been living this way for decades! But in reality, their genetics allowed them to have this huge bucket...

So, back to this middle aged American who finally decides to start detoxing. The detox foot pads are a great choice because you can start and stop whenever, and use them when it is convenient for you. Other forms of detoxing require you to be near a bathroom, or make you sick, or force your body to detox. The foot pads don't. They only pull from that toxin bucket -- what your body is ALREADY trying to get rid of!!

So, using the detox foot pads you will start to lessen the load in the bucket. And you will continue to expose yourself to toxins in your food, in your home -- carpet off gassing, mattresses off gassing, the spray on clothing and furniture... New clothing is often covered with formaldehyde to prevent mildew, wrinkling and parasites during shipping -- especially those shipped from China! (In fact, Victoria's Secret has undergone multiple lawsuits for the excessive formaldehyde levels found in their lingerie!) Not to mention the toxins in our personal care items, cleaning items and the air we breathe!

So... if you could be very alert and focused on cleaning up your home so that there is no mold, no off gassing, no toxic cleaning products or personal care items, and you started eating better and more organic whole foods instead of processed foods, and got a good air purifier and on and on.... plus using the detox foot pads, you can get ahead of the toxin bucket, and slowly start to empty it. The more it is emptied, the more you gain control over your chronic pain and other symptoms.

And, if you ever get that toxin bucket fully empty, the foot pads will come clean in the morning after use!

That is the question I get asked the most. When will they come clean?

Every single person is different. The bucket size is different. The exposure to toxins is different... We are each individuals.

  • I would recommend for a middle aged adult who wants to detox but doesn't have any debilitating health issues (maybe a little chronic pain or a couple minor health issues) to start with a 3-month supply and rotate the foot pads on the different areas of the body.

  • I would recommend for a younger adult who lives a clean, healthy lifestyle with no major health issues except maybe one or two minor ones, to start out with a 1-month supply and rotate the foot pads on the different areas of the body.

  • I would recommend for a chronically ill adult with lots of health issues, to consider doing 3 on each foot per night for at least 3 months. That is a lot of foot pads, but the benefits are enormous!

  • For infants, I would say maybe 3-5 days max of use before they are fully cleaned and detoxed!

  • For elementary school kids, I recommend 2 weeks of use for a good detox. Unless they have heavy metal toxicity or other health issues, they shouldn't need more than 2 weeks.

And I love that my customers love the detox foot pads. Thank you all so much!

Cistus Biofilm Buster Herbal Tincture

Cistus Biofilm Buster Herbal Tincture

This cistus biofilm buster is amazing! It is very potent, and can really help those who are dealing with chronic issues like systemic candida, Lyme disease, Lyme co-infections, mold-illness, parasites and more!

This tincture would be good paired with the following formulas:

Candida Formula

Parasite Formula

Babesia Formula

And it is already included in the Lyme Disease Formula.

What is Cistus Incanus? This herb has amazing antibacterial and antifungal benefits. One example where this can be beneficial is with candida overgrowth. Systemic candida can wreak havoc on the digestive tract and other fungal infections are toxic to the immune system and respiratory system.  That cistus can address these types of issues is great news for those who are struggling with fungal illnesses, including toxic mold exposure. These anti-fungal properties could make cistus  an important part of healing protocols for people with mold-induced illness.

Cistus also has strong antiviral properties. It prevents viral infection by targeting viral envelope proteins (proteins embedded in the capsule of a virus, which is the shell-like payer that encapsulates the viral DNA or RNA… this is the genetic material that a virus uses to replicate once it is in a host cell).

One of the most wonderful qualities of Cistus is it’s all-star ability to break down biofilm, especially in the mouth. Biofilm, a slimy layer of bacteria that can form on bodily surfaces, may be a major contributor to the development and persistence of chronic disease because it allows bacteria to evade antibiotics. Cistus is a powerful bio-film breaker that can help destroy biofilm and restore a healthy microbial balance in the human body.

Lyme Disease Herbal Formula

Lyme Disease Herbal Formula

This Lyme Disease formula is made from high quality herbs and ingredients. I created it because I read an article about some herbs that were specific for the Borellia burgdorferi Lyme Disease bacteria. (here is the article if you want to read it). The main gist was that these seven herbs are highly active in test tubes against B. burgdorferi compared to commonly-used antibiotics like doxycycline and cefuroxime. A co-author of the study, Dr. Schweig, said “Since traditional antibiotic approaches fail to resolve symptoms in up to 25% of patients treated for Lyme disease and many suffer disabling effects of the disease, there is a need for novel treatment proven effective against B. burgdorferi.”

The herbs included in this Lyme Disease formula are:

Cryptolepis Sanguinolenta: Cryptolepis is one of the top five systemic herbal antibiotics in the world. It is used in the treatment of various diseases such as malaria, bacterial respiratory diseases, hypertension, and diarrhea.

Artemisia (Sweet Wormwood): Research has shown artemisia to have benefits in cases of malaria, worms, cancer and autoimmune inflammatory diseases. The main compound, artemisinin, may also have anti-inflammatory benefits, which could be useful for treating inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. For example, it might help treat the symptoms of multiple sclerosis.

Chinese Skullcap: Chinese (Baical) skullcap is anondyne, anti-allergic, antibacterial, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antioxidant, antispasmodic, diuretic, expectorant, hypocholesterolaemic, nervine, sedative and vasodilatory. Baical skullcap is considered to be one of the 50 fundamental herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is used primarily in treating “hot and damp” conditions such as dysentery and diarrhea. It has been used medicinally for over 2,000 years and recent research has found that the roots contain flavonoids that greatly enhance liver function and also have anti-inflammatory and anti allergenic effects.

Black Walnut: The antiseptic properties (antifungal, antimicrobial) and antineoplastic action give it indication in the treatment of chronic skin conditions associated with a disorder of digestion and assimilation. Used internally for the treatment of worms/parasites, yeast infections and cancer.

Cat’s Claw: Primary traditional uses in Peru are as an anti-inflammatory, contraceptive and anti-cancer remedy. An immune stimulant especially used in viral infections, including HIV. Useful in a variety of inflammatory diseases including gastric ulcers, diarrhea and GI tumors, gonorrhea, arthritis and rheumatism, acne, diabetes, diseases of the urinary tract and cancer.

Japanese Knotweed: Japanese Knotweed contains high levels of the popular antioxidant, Resveratrol. This plant also can regulate bowel motility and can be used as a natural laxative. Supports healthy blood vessel function and promotes heart health.

Cistus Incanus: This herb has amazing antibacterial and antifungal benefits.

It prevents viral infection by targeting viral envelope proteins (proteins embedded in the capsule of a virus, which is the shell-like payer that encapsulates the viral DNA or RNA... this is the genetic material that a virus uses to replicate once it is in a host cell).

One of the most wonderful qualities of Cistus is it's all-star ability to break down biofilm, especially in the mouth.

INGREDIENTS:  Cryptolepis Sanguinolenta, Artemisia, Chinese Skullcap, Cistus Incanus, Cat’s Claw, Black Walnut, Japanese Knotweed and Vodka

DIRECTIONS: Take 20-30 drops at least 1x per day and up to 3x per day. You can take in juice, tea or other liquid. You can take it directly in your mouth if you can get over the taste! Please note that with a spirochete bacteria such as Lyme and it’s co-infections, you may experience die off or a detox reaction. If this occurs, please reduce the number of drops and SLOWLY work your way back up to the full dose.

Babesia (Lyme Co-infection) Herbal Formula

Babesia (Lyme Co-infection) Herbal Formula

This Babesia (Lyme co-infection) formula is made from high quality herbs and ingredients. I created it because I read an article about some herbs that were specific for the Babesia duncani (here is the article if you want to read it). The main gist was that these five herbs had potent activity compared to commonly-used antibiotics in test tubes against Babesia duncani. A co-author of the study, Dr. Schweig, said “due to limited therapeutics and a rise in treatment resistance, current treatment options for this disease are inaequate. Many patients rely on herbal therapies for which there is only anecdotal evidence of efficacy. We hope this data offers inspiration to other researchers to further explore similar options for people living with tick-borne diseases that do not respond to current treatments.”

The herbs included in this Lyme Co-infection (Babesia) formula are:

It has been used medicinally for over 2,000 years and recent research has found that the roots contain flavonoids that greatly enhance liver function and also have anti-inflammatory and anti allergenic effects

African Christmas Bush: The leaves and stems are taken for their sedative and antispasmodic activities to treat a variety of respiratory problems including sore throat, cough and bronchitis, genital / urinary problems including venereal disease and female sterility. Also used for intestinal problems including ulcers, diarrhea, dysentery and worms. They are also used as a blood purifier.

Japanese Knotweed: Japanese Knotweed contains high levels of the popular antioxidant, Resveratrol. This plant also can regulate bowel motility and can be used as a natural laxative. Supports healthy blood vessel function and promotes heart health.

Cold Sore Herbal Formula

Cold Sore Herbal Tincture

This cold sore herbal tincture is made from high quality herbs and ingredients. I created it because a friend of mine told me about a similar formula she got from someone where she used to live. She said it was amazing and she used it right when she felt cold sores coming on and it wiped them out super fast! She was wondering if I could make something like it so that she would be able to have access to it still when hers ran out.

Here is her testimonial: “A midwife in Virginia made me up a tincture when I had a cold sore and I couldn’t believe it, it was gone in two days (I’ve had cold sores my whole life and believe me, at that stage, they are never gone on their own before at least two weeks). It kicked the crap out of even lysine. Essential oils work really quickly if you catch it before it erupts but I had never had success after it blistered until this tincture. ”

I have never had cold sores so I do not know from first hand experience how this works. However, I have had shingles OVER TWENTY TIMES in my life so far… and they come from related viruses. So… I am going to try this formula next time I get a shingles outbreak. But, it has been TWO YEARS since my last one (and before, I’d have them at least once per year so I have high hopes that I won’t be getting another one anytime soon!)

This formula would be good paired with the cold and flu formula. There are a ton of anti-viral herbs in that one.

The herbs included in this cold sore formula are:

St. John’s Wort: This herb comes to the rescue for raw nerves and wounds of flesh. It calms anxiety, melancholy and tension of the mind, nerves and body, as well as menopausal irritability. Externally, its antiseptic astringency aids healing of flesh wounds like sores, cuts, bruises, burns, hemorrhoids & varicose veins, and helps to calm swelling, stop bleeding & prevent infection, especially with weak immunity. It is also useful externally for sciatica, arthritis, spine ailments & fybromyalgia – anything ‘nervy’.

Lemon Balm: Lemon balm is a relaxing diaphoretic as opposed to a stimulating diaphoretic. Antiviral: destroys or suppresses growth of viruses, generally by supporting the immune system. Antioxidant: prevents free radical or oxidative damage. Lemon balm is a wonderful herb for multiple health conditions and was once considered “an herbal cure-all”.

Yarrow: Perhaps most famously, yarrow is prized for its benefits to wounds or minor bleeding. Its mild antiseptic and anodyne properties coupled with its ability to coagulate blood and stop bleeding make it the perfect ally in this case. These properties also make it useful in cases of hemorrhoids, post-partum care, bruises, and mouth sores, as well as internal bleeding. Yarrow beautifully harmonizes blood circulation and can be beneficial in cases of stagnation such as varicose veins or fibroids, as well as cases of overstimulated blood flow, such as hypertension.

Orange Peel: Orange peel is recommended for colds (in the early stage), asthma, constipation, flu, gums, mouth, slow digestion, and stress. It also shows promise as an anti-cancer agent. It’s also packed with Vitamin C that boosts immunity and helps the body fight off infections. The peel actually contains more Vitamin C than the fruit. The high levels of Vitamin C, histamine and it’s anti-inflammatory properties make it highly effective in cleansing the lungs

Testosterone Boosting Herbal Formula

Testosterone Boosting Herbal Tincture

This testosterone boosting herbal tincture is made from high quality herbs and ingredients — some of which may have grown in my garden!

Men will be the target of this formula most frequently, which is why I have it labeled on the bottle “Male Testosterone Formula.” However, if a female is low on testosterone this will be ok to take. I do recommend getting a male hormone panel done that includes DHEA as well as testosterone, since DHEA is a common hormone that is low when testosterone is low.

This formula would be good paired with the adrenal formula. The herbs included in this testosterone boosting formula are:

Ashwaganda: Is used to restore health to the nervous system and eases stress and mental exhaustion as it promotes mental clarity and improves memory and stamina.

American Ginseng (Panax): Ginseng may help stimulate physical and mental activity in people who feel weak and tired. One study revealed that ginseng showed good results in helping cancer patients with fatigue. Also can boost energy, lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, reduce stress, promote relaxation, treat diabetes, and manage sexual dysfunction in men.

Eleuthero (Siberian Ginseng): Eleuthero, the king of adaptogens, has so many benefits! It is anti-fatigue, enhances mental acuity and physical endurance, work and exercise capacity without the letdown that comes with stimulants such as caffeine products. It allows for a quicker recovery from acute stress and improves oxygen uptake, enabling longer workouts and quicker recovery. It has an anabolic effect and stimulates protein synthesis in the pancreas, liver and adrenal cortex. Improves learning and memory, while protecting against environmental pollutants and radiation. Increases the body’s ability to resist infection, and prevents colds and flu, while shortening recovery time. It is antiviral and immunoprotective.

Fenugreek: Based on the available evidence, fenugreek has benefits for lowering blood sugar levels, boosting testosterone, and increasing milk production in breastfeeding mothers. Fenugreek may also reduce cholesterol levels, lower inflammation, and help with appetite control.

Horny Goat Weed: This herb is used to stimulate androgen hormones and therefore enhance sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, and to provide energy. Also used to support normal circulation to the extremities, and tonify kidney yang energy, which is a driving force for libido. It is an antioxidant, and good for cardiovascular support as well as helping with circulation.

Tribulus Terrestris (Goat Heads!): Used to enhance libido, keep the urinary tract healthy and reduce swelling. Tribulus terrestris is widely used as a general health supplement, as well as in supplements that claim to increase testosterone levels. A powerful sexual tonic, Tribulus tops the charts of herbal Viagra. Studies have shown that this herb elevates the luteinising hormone (LH), increasing the levels of free testosterone in healthy males.

Long Jack (Tongkat Ali): Studies show that tongkat ali (Longjack) may boost testosterone levels and help treat infertility in men, relieve stress, and possibly increase muscle mass

Saw Palmetto: Promising research shows that saw palmetto may help increase testosterone levels, improve prostate health, reduce inflammation, prevent hair loss, and enhance urinary tract function.

Migraine Relief Herbal Formula

This migraine relief herbal formula is made from high quality herbs and ingredients. I created it because I suffer from migraines and found some things that helped me. Besides this, I have worked on stabilizing my electrolytes by replenishing my sodium, potassium and magnesium. I haven’t had a migraine in over 2 months and I am thrilled! I had been getting them as frequently as 3x per week and it was getting old.

The herbs included in this migraine relief herbal formula are:

Butterbur: Butterbur is an effective treatment for migraine headaches that can potentially help with other conditions, such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and asthma. Preliminary research suggests It may even protect the brain from oxidative stress.

Feverfew: Feverfew is believed to help migraine sufferers because of the unique plant chemical it contains, parthenolide, which helps relieve smooth muscle spasms and can combat the widening of blood vessels that occurs in migraines. This effect appears to be backed up by research which shows that Feverfew can reduce the frequency of migraines and reduce symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light (flashing lights). The word “Feverfew” derives from the Latin word febrifugia, meaning “fever reducer” or “to drive out fevers”. With a long history of traditional use, the Ancient Greek physician Dioscorides gave a decoction of Feverfew to women in labour to speed up the birth process by increasing contractions. The Romans used it as an emmenagogue, to induce or increase menstrual flow and they also used it during difficult births to aid in the expulsion of the placenta.

Oatstraw: Overall is a nervous system trophorestorative, is nutritive in cases of debility from anxiety, depression & fatigue. Taken over time will increase one’s stamina and strength. Will “feed” the nervous system especially when under stress, and is specific in cases of nervous debility and exhaustion, especially when associated with depression, insomnia, and “weakness of the nerves”. Has been given to help with addiction withdrawals (e.g. opium, tobacco). Considered to also have antispasmodic, demulcent, diuretic, and vulnerary actions and is useful in rheumatic conditions. Often used in baths as an emollient and to treat insomnia and anxiety as well as in a variety of skin conditions, including burns and eczema.

Peppermint: Will inhibit mucous secretion temporarily because of it’s menthol component. It can be used whenever there is excess mucous secreted, helping also with it’s antispasmodic and carminative actions. Is one of the best carminatives available, having a relaxing effect on visceral muscles and relieving intestinal colic and flatulence. The volatile oil acts as a mild anaesthetic to the stomach wall which help with feelings of nausea during travel or pregnancy. Essential oil be used topically for rheumatism, sprains & strains.

White Willow Bark: Salix sp. (willow bark) is used in a variety of conditions with symptoms of fever and pain. It’s analgesic effects are slower than that of aspirin, but of longer duration and without the gastric side effects. Mild flus and colds with fever, mild headaches and other pain caused by inflammation are indications for this plant. Salix sp. has been used for various forms of arthritis for centuries and is specific for RA and other systemic connective tissue conditions with inflammatory changes. Conditions with inflammation pain such as anyklosing spondylitis, gout, muscular rheumatism, joint pain, OA, osteoporosis, tendinitis, sprains, sciatica and neuralgia it can be of great use. It should be noted that the irreversible inhibition of platelet aggregation seen with aspirin cannot be induced by willow.
