Amazing Adaptogens to Nourish Your Adrenals

Amazing Adaptogens Herbal Tincture

Too many people, mostly women I see it happen to, are overworking themselves. They are taking on too much, working to provide an income, taking care of their family, doing the household chores, and trying to be a good friend to their friends and neighbors! We only have 24 hours in a day, and we need to start taking care of ourselves! When we don’t take care of ourselves, and stress continues on and becomes cumulative, we can get adrenal fatigue. I have experience with this, in fact, My adrenals crashed and I had late stage adrenal fatigue, where my body wasn’t producing barely ANY cortisol! (This formula wouldn’t be good for cases like mine at its worst). Instead, this is for people who are toward the beginning stages of adrenal fatigue and are wanting to help their body cope with stress better, and nourish their adrenals.

Adaptogens are specific plants that can help heal and alleviate stress and fatigue. If you feel like your stress levels are at an all-time high and your ability to fall asleep is being impacted, then you need to make this formula a part of your daily routine! This adaptogen formula is great for adults to take every day. It may be ok for teenagers to take during times of stress, but not every day. I just don’t like to think about teenagers having to deal with all the stress, it breaks my heart to even think about. So let’s focus on using this formula for adults, men or women, who are taking on too much and need to start nourishing their bodies.

Here is a list of the ingredients in this amazing adaptogens formula:

Ashwagandha: An adaptogen. It is used to restore health to the nervous system and eases stress and mental exhaustion as it promotes mental clarity and improves memory and stamina. As a tonic for the elderly and to promote growth in children and enhance athletic performance, it also promotes recovery after illness and during convalescence and has great use in various chronic diseases involving inflammation.

Astragalus: A classic energy tonic that improves physical endurance by helping the body adapt to external stressful influences. Has been used since ancient times in traditional Chinese medicine as a warming (yang) tonic. Thought to control body fluids such as excessive sweating, night sweats, and relieve fluid retention.

Cordyceps: Cordycep Sinensis has been known to boost oxygen flow to muscles (especially after exercise), as well as increase energy and prevent fatigue. Cordyceps also may keep blood sugar in check by mimicking the actions of insulin. It also may help fight inflammation as well as have benefits to your heart.

Holy Basil: Also known as Tulsi, Holy Basil is known for its therapeutic benefits when it comes to fighting the effects of stress. It has a rich history dating back 3,000 years ago to ancient India. It’s long been considered an “adaptogen” and medicinal, sacred herb in Ayurvedic medicine. Many of its protective effects are due to its rich concentration of phytonutrients. Historically, it was used as medicine and still is today due to its anti-stress effects that promote balance throughout the entire body (including in the immune, reproductive, central nervous and cardiovascular systems). It also works to control your body’s cortisol production.

Licorice Root: Commonly used for adrenal insufficiency, corticosteroid withdrawal, hypoglycemia and protection against cataracts in diabetes. Inflammatory conditions also benefit from it’s use such as allergies and autoimmune disease, lyme disease, and protects against carcinogens. It will soothe gastrointestinal inflammation and irritations such as GERD, gastritis, IBD, and ulcers. For rheumatism, muscle spasm & cramps, and joint inflammation it can be used both internally and topically.

Panax Ginseng:Ginseng may help stimulate physical and mental activity in people who feel weak and tired. One study revealed that ginseng showed good results in helping cancer patients with fatigue. Also can boost energy, lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, reduce stress, promote relaxation, treat diabetes, and manage sexual dysfunction in men.

Rhodiola: rhodiola is a promising and relatively benign treatment for a number of mental health conditions, including stress, neuroprotection (“cognitive stimulation” and improvement in “cognitive deficiencies” and memory) and mild to moderate depression. It is also beneficial in chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia syndrome. Rhodiola is also a useful adjunctive treatment in attention deficit disorder (ADHD), since it activates cognition and tends to improve accuracy, alertness and attention.

Herbal tinctures as medicine

Why are tinctures a preferred method of taking herbs? Because tinctures are potent! You don’t waste your money on pills that have been in the manufacturing process for months / years and lose potency! With an alcohol base, the tinctures pull out all the medicinal benefits of the plant, and preserve them naturally for you! They don’t lose potency over time.

With that being said, they are in a non-gmo vodka base. Which is fine for most people. But some people prefer to avoid alcohol in all forms. (even by avoiding real vanilla extract) and we support that choice. These tinctures aren’t for those people. Because of the potential for bacteria to reside in glycerine tinctures, we have decided to only offer vodka based tinctures. These herbs are edible and considered safe for most people. Some people may be allergic to certain herbs and should not use them. It is always best to consult your doctor before using any herbal product if you are taking prescription medications or have a health condition.

INGREDIENTS:  Ashwagandha, Astragalus, Cordyceps, Holy Basil, Licorice, Panax Ginseng, Rhodiola and Non-GMO Vodka
