This mental clarity brain herbal tincture may help address symptoms of brain fog, memory loss and overall brain health. It can be taken up to 3x per day, but it might make you more alert so if you have trouble sleeping, you probably don’t want to take it around bedtime. It is made of high quality herbs, some of which I have grown myself. Here is a list of the amazing ingredients in this hyperactivity control formula:
Ashwagandha: Is used to restore health to the nervous system and eases stress and mental exhaustion as it promotes mental clarity and improves memory and stamina. As a tonic for the elderly and to promote growth in children and enhance athletic performance, it also promotes recovery after illness and during convalescence and has great use in various chronic diseases involving inflammation. It will aid bone degeneration, rheumatism, joint pain and neuralgias and can be used topically for wounds and swelling.
Bacopa Monnieri: Bacopa monnieri is a perennial herb with nootropic and other benefits — and very few side effects. Known as Brahmi in traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine, Bacopa benefits are said to be many. It’s been used to improve mental clarity and treat ulcers, indigestion, tumors, and mental problems.
Studies show that Bacopa can enhance human memory, reduce stress and anxiety, balance neurotransmitters, protect neurons, work as an antidepressant, and provide other cognitive enhancements. People also use Bacopa for ADHD, dyslexia, Alzheimer’s dementia, and to reduce inflammation.
Ginkgo: Improves brain metabolism of glucose and oxygen. Promotes blood flow to the brain to improve memory and concentration, cognitive & brain function. In managing Alzheimer’s can serve to enhance cerebral circulation, promote memory and cognition, act as an anti-coagulant and anti-oxidant. It’s strong antioxidant effects can increase energy and be used in allergic inflammatory reactions. Useful in peripheral vascular disease and restricted blood flow for any reason. Can inhibit platelet aggregation, relaxes blood vessels and improves their tone, and can be use topically as an anti-inflammatory.
Gotu Kola: Gotu Kola is also a tonic for our blood vessels and connective tissue. As a systemic anti-inflammatory, it is helpful for autoimmune conditions. And it has a reputation for relieving depression, anxiety, and expanding consciousness.
Ginseng: Panax Ginseng may help stimulate physical and mental activity in people who feel weak and tired. One study revealed that ginseng showed good results in helping cancer patients with fatigue. Also can boost energy, lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, reduce stress, promote relaxation, treat diabetes, and manage sexual dysfunction in men.
Lion’s Mane: Studies have found that lion’s mane mushrooms contain two special compounds that can stimulate the growth of brain cells: hericenones and erinacines. Additionally, animal studies have found that lion’s mane may help protect against Alzheimer’s disease, a degenerative brain disease that causes progressive memory loss. In fact, lion’s mane mushroom and its extracts have been shown to reduce symptoms of memory loss in mice, as well as prevent neuronal damage caused by amyloid-beta plaques, which accumulate in the brain during Alzheimer’s disease. Lion’s mane mushroom also appears to boost mental function. The ability of lion’s mane mushroom to promote nerve growth and protect the brain from Alzheimer’s-related damage may explain some of its beneficial effects on brain health.
Studies suggest that lion’s mane mushrooms may help relieve mild symptoms of anxiety and depression. Animal and test-tube studies suggest that lion’s mane extract can reduce the risk of heart disease. When lion’s mane extract is mixed with human cancer cells in a test tube, they cause the cancer cells to die at a faster rate. This has been demonstrated with several types of cancer cells, including liver, colon, stomach and blood cancer cells.
Peppermint: Peppermint can have notable effects on the human brain by enhancing cognitive functions. It also will inhibit mucous secretion temporarily because of it’s menthol component. It can be used whenever there is excess mucous secreted, helping also with it’s antispasmodic and carminative actions. Is one of the best carminatives available, having a relaxing effect on visceral muscles and relieving intestinal colic and flatulence. The volatile oil acts as a mild anesthetic to the stomach wall which help with feelings of nausea during travel or pregnancy.
Rhodiola: Rhodiola is a promising and relatively benign treatment for a number of mental health conditions, including stress, neuroprotection (“cognitive stimulation” and improvement in “cognitive deficiencies” and memory) and mild to moderate depression. It is also beneficial in chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia syndrome. Rhodiola is also a useful adjunctive treatment in attention deficit disorder (ADHD), since it activates cognition and tends to improve accuracy, alertness and attention.
Herbal tinctures as medicine
Why are tinctures a preferred method of taking herbs? Because tinctures are potent! You don’t waste your money on pills that have been in the manufacturing process for months / years and lose potency! With an alcohol base, the tinctures pull out all the medicinal benefits of the plant, and preserve them naturally for you! They don’t lose potency over time.
With that being said, they are in a non-gmo vodka base. Which is fine for most people. But some people prefer to avoid alcohol in all forms. (even by avoiding real vanilla extract) and we support that choice. These tinctures aren’t for those people. Because of the potential for bacteria to reside in glycerine tinctures, we have decided to only offer vodka based tinctures. These herbs are edible and considered safe for most people. Some people may be allergic to certain herbs and should not use them. It is always best to consult your doctor before using any herbal product if you are taking prescription medications or have a health condition.
