How Long Should Someone Wear The Detox Pads For?

The first thing to say regarding the question of how long someone should wear the detox pads for, is to reassure everyone that there is no wrong or right length of time to wear the detox foot pads. 



A person can wear them one time and get benefits. There will be less toxins in their body even after one use. (Pretty cool, huh?)

The length of time it takes for a detox foot patch to "come clean" in the morning varies so much between people. My first time using the foot pads it took me about 7 months on the arches of my feet to come clean. I was in my late 20s and lived a pretty clean lifestyle. At least I thought so! (I rarely ate fast food, didn't drink soda, sugar was limited, and I didn't use toxic makeup). But in the area of my toes, I have never EVER seen them come clean. That area correlates to the head in reflexology charts. And I have had a LOT of issues, from hearing loss, TMJ issues, dental work (I have gotten all my metal fillings removed over 15 years ago and my mouth is doing a lot better now), migraines, I even had a tumor in my head 10 years ago. So that is understandable, I think. 

Let's take a few scenarios that some customers have asked me about specifically.

If you are middle aged and lived on the standard American diet for 35-50 years, and you work in a factory or a beauty salon around chemicals all day long.... then you may NEVER have the detox foot pads come clean in the morning. Even if you used them every night for YEARS. The reason? Input and output. Not only has your body had YEARS to store toxins, and become sluggish, you are continually adding more toxins to your bucket. 

And speaking of that bucket, I like to use the example of everyone having a bucket -- they can be all different sizes... it can be the "toxin bucket" and one person may have a huge bucket and won't feel any symptoms until it starts to overflow with toxins.... so they may smoke 2 packs of cigarettes per day and eat McDonald's every day for lunch, and so on... and on .... for decades. And then all of the sudden their bucket is overflowing and they start to feel chronic symptoms come on. Then they refuse to believe it is their lifestyle... because after all, they have been living this way for decades! But in reality, their genetics allowed them to have this huge bucket... 


So, back to this middle aged American who finally decides to start detoxing. The detox foot pads are a great choice because you can start and stop whenever, and use them when it is convenient for you. Other forms of detoxing require you to be near a bathroom, or make you sick, or force your body to detox. The foot pads don't. They only pull from that toxin bucket -- what your body is ALREADY trying to get rid of!! 

So, using the detox foot pads you will start to lessen the load in the bucket. And you will continue to expose yourself to toxins in your food, in your home -- carpet off gassing, mattresses off gassing, the spray on clothing and furniture... New clothing is often covered with formaldehyde to prevent mildew, wrinkling and parasites during shipping -- especially those shipped from China! Not to mention the toxins in our personal care items, cleaning items and the air we breathe!

So... if you could be very alert and focused on cleaning up your home so that there is no mold, no off gassing, no toxic cleaning products or personal care items, and you started eating better and more organic whole foods instead of processed foods, and got a good air purifier and on and on.... plus using the detox foot pads, you can get ahead of the toxin bucket, and slowly start to empty it. The more it is emptied, the more you gain control over your chronic pain and other symptoms. 

And, if you ever get that toxin bucket fully empty, the foot pads will come clean in the morning after use! 


That is the question I get asked the most. When will they come clean? 

Every single person is different. The bucket size is different. The exposure to toxins is different... We are each individuals. 

  • I would recommend for a middle aged adult who wants to detox but doesn't have any debilitating health issues (maybe a little chronic pain or a couple minor health issues) to start with a 3-month supply and rotate the foot pads on the different areas of the body.

  • I would recommend for a younger adult who lives a clean, healthy lifestyle with no major health issues except maybe one or two minor ones, to start out with a 1-month supply and rotate the foot pads on the different areas of the body.

  • I would recommend for a chronically ill adult with lots of health issues, to consider doing 3 on each foot per night for at least 3 months. That is a lot of foot pads, but the benefits are enormous!

  • For infants, I would say maybe 3-5 days max of use before they are fully cleaned and detoxed!

  • For elementary school kids, I recommend 2 weeks of use for a good detox. Unless they have heavy metal toxicity or other health issues, they shouldn't need more than 2 weeks.

Cellular Toxicity from 2020 -- Detox Your Body!

 This week has been 16 years since I first launched Purify Your Body's website and got my first order! I was so excited and proud of my little business that I created from scratch.


Now, all these years later, I have over 7,000 customers (not all are repeat unfortunately -- some were just one time customers) and have increased my products to include some of my favorite herbal formulas, made from my own two hands! (gloved, of course, hah!)

Now, last year was definitely crazy for a lot of us. We've all probably spent more time at home and inside this year than any other year of our lives. (Hopefully 2021 isn't the same). 

Here are some things to consider as a result of this:

--> With being less mobile, our lymphatic system can't support our detox processes as much as if we were more active.

--> The air indoors is much worse than outdoor air quality almost everywhere in the U.S.

--> The stress levels add even more toxins to our poor bodies

--> All of this leads to increased cellular toxicity, chronic illness and can also lead to weight gain over time

And, because of this, you can't just change your diet or exercise more and hope to repair the damage. You must address the detoxification aspect to undo the damage that all the sitting around indoors this past year has done to us all. ​

So what do I recommend? 

My detox foot pads of course! They are especially great for babies and young kids. I love hearing how within days the pads come clean on the little ones. Unlike us adults who have had decades piling up the toxins in our bodies, they are easily detoxed.

I recommend at least 1 week of use for kids, and at least 1 month of wearing the foot pads for each adult. ​

One question I get asked a lot is whether the foot pads will get lighter as time goes by. 

The foot pads eventually WILL get lighter as time goes by, as long as you are not putting in more toxins to your body than you are removing. If you work in a factory, or in a salon, or with chemicals, etc. And if you live in a very polluted area, or are exposed to cleaning products all day long, everything adds up. For       example, even the furniture, the clothes we wear (with flame retardants sprayed on them) -- our mattresses, carpet, paint, etc can off gas and cause toxins to build up.

Babies Can Be Detoxed, TOO!

I just LOVE my baby nephew. He is such a chunk and he is now almost 4 months old. My sister went ahead and got him vaccinated (I disagree with vaccinating, especially babies, but this isn't about pro or anti-vax). So, I had her use the detox foot pads on his little feet. He used them for a couple days post vaccinations, and the foot pads were super gooey and then started slowing down on the gooey-ness (that is a word, I am sure!) as his body detoxed.

While I hate all the toxins in vaccines, if you feel that it is necessary to vaccinate, I recommend that you consider detoxing your baby afterward to help get the heavy metals, mercury and other yucky ingredients out of your poor baby's body.

The foot pads can help with that. One single foot pad can fit on the whole foot, making it easy and less expensive to detox your baby vs detoxing an adult.

Babies also detox a LOT quicker than adults as well. They should be fully detoxed within two weeks if not within days. Adults take months to detox fully, thanks to the many years of exposure to toxins!

Do The Foot Pads Turn Dark Because of Sweat?

I live in a tropical, VERY humid climate. We reach 95% humidity almost every day, as is the case with tropical rainforests. We leave our windows open (and doors, during the day) and never use AC.

We have to use a lot of precautions against mold -- especially on anything leather. Many of our clothes have been destroyed because of the mold that grows.

Nonetheless, I want people to know and understand how the detox foot pads work.

When exposed to moisture they WILL turn dark. If you run them under tap water, they will also become dark.

After 3 days of laying out in the open, humid air, here is a picture of a foot pad (it was opened from its cellophane package)


This is why it is important to keep the foot pads in their packaging until use. Now this is over 72 hours of being exposed to extreme moisture in the air.

There also is a difference in the "goo" -- if it is exposed to moisture, if you run it under the water, it will turn dark, but it will feel like a wet tea bag... If you put them on your feet the feeling is totally different. It is like a tar or molasses consistency -- way thicker than when exposed to water.

The bottom line is -- these detox foot pads are moisture sensitive! (doh!! of course!). They come with the desiccated pack in the pouch to keep moisture out. Once you open the foot pads, use them. It's as simple as that :)

And if you sweat enough to really believe that all the dark goo from the footpads is coming from your feet -- after only 8 hours, then I highly recommend you see a doctor, because that is not right!

I woke up this morning, (which is a great thing, this waking up every morning).... Better than the alternative! I went to the bathroom to take my detox foot pads off. I had them on my toes last night, along with another pair on my heels. Here is a picture of the foot pads I took off my toes. You can even see the blue nail polish that was peeled off (thanks to Honeybee Gardens non-toxic nail polish -- I like that they are non-toxic and all natural but the nail polish doesn't stay on too well).

So, what areas of the body do the toes represent? This is an easy one to remember, because it is everything from your neck up, including:
  • Your thyroid
  • Your mouth/jaw (TMJ/dental fillings/cavities)
  • Your ears (chronic ear infections?)
  • Your sinuses and nasal passages
  • Your eyes 
  • Your BRAIN
And so this is one of the best places to wear the detox foot pads.


I have been wearing my detox foot pads on and off for years -- over 10 years in fact. After taking the foot pads off my toes, only rarely do they have any white spots on them like they did this morning. I wear them about 2-3 times per week. And last night I wore them for 9 hours! So this is good news.

Why am I so excited about white spots on my foot pads?

Because I have detox issues. My body doesn't detox as well as a normal person's body does. Folks with methylation issues most always have this issue. I know this is another topic, and one that I want to write about someday, but it all started out when I learned about MTHFR gene mutations, and how those genes were discovered in the Human Genome project -- and some folks say up to 40% of the population may be affected.

Which is why even if you are doing everything right in your life -- avoiding as many toxins as you can in your environment, in your home and in your food -- and you are still sick -- this may be the cause.

So this is good that there are some "white" areas on the foot pads. I may be getting ahead of the game of detoxing. Me against the world of toxins. And I may be winning!

Putting Detox Foot Pads On My Toes

When I put them on all other areas of my feet, they aren't filled with goo very much anymore. I have successfully detox those areas of my body. But after so many years, the detox foot pads have NEVER come clean when I put them on my toes.

Why? Based on reflexology charts, the toes correlate with everything from your neck, up. This includes your thyroid, sinuses, TMJ, ears, brain, and your mouth.

Let's see:

1. I have thyroid issues.
2. I have a hearing loss
3. I have TMJ
4. I have a benign tumor in my head
5. I have had a LOT of dental work done, including a dental implant.

Thankfully, I have all my metal fillings removed, replaced by composite fillings. I do not know whether the composite fillings have BPA in them. Knowing my luck, yes.

But the implant has a metal screw. From that tooth I constantly have a metallic taste.

I just wonder whether these are the reasons why I have never been able to get the foot pads clean.

And, I wonder whether all the diet soda pop I drank in my 20s contributed to the tumor in my head and my thyroid issues.

But, since wearing the foot pads on my toes (I started wearing them back in 2003 / 2004) my migraines have stopped and my TMJ symptoms are gone. That is a HUGE blessing.

I don't wear them every night on my toes. I wear them about 2x per week.

Using Coconut Oil for Weight Loss? Does It Really Work?

I have thyroid and adrenal issues. As a result, I also a little more weight around my midsection than I would like. While I am not overweight, I do believe that my thyroid issues (which are getting better, thankfully!) have had something to do with this. Undetected for so many years, it was very frustrating when I was doing everything right and not losing a pound. And with my adrenal issues, they were shooting out excess cortisol -- AT NIGHT! -- so my body was constantly in "alert" mode instead of resting like it should be. (I took the 4x diurnal saliva cortisol test to get diagnosed).


So, everyone talks about coconut oil being a miraculous weight aid. The medium chain fatty acids in the coconut oil boost your metabolism. The healthy saturated fat provides satiety so you feel full quicker and for longer. And you don't overeat.

Well. It has been a little over a week now where I have eaten at least 2 Tablespoons of coconut oil in the morning. I want to report back to you after a month and see how things work out. I am hoping it will provide me some more energy, better sleep, and overall better health.

Here in Panama where my kitchen rarely gets to below 85 degrees F, the coconut oil is a liquid oil. It is MUCH easier to take as a liquid than a solid, so I do have that going for me. I will report on how that works in about a month.

I also will be starting a parasite cleanse that I will write about shortly. My detox foot pads unfortunately are not the best at taking out yeasts, fungi and parasites. They do pull out heavy metals, plastic by products, chemicals and toxins which are an overabundance in our bodies. And, they work amazing on children, too!

Our Journey To Panama

This is a personal blog post, not about my detox foot pads.

We have been living in Panama now for just shy of 4 months. We arrived here pretty smoothly. We had a long drive from Salt Lake City to Houston. Then we flew direct from Houston to Panama City.

The second night of our journey, we arrived in our hotel just south of Dallas (In Corsicana, TX) and we checked in to our hotel, The Days Inn. We put the dog and cat in the hotel room and shut the door. It was around 8pm and we were hungry and tired. We drove across the highway to get some dinner (a busy highway).

When we came back to the hotel room, the door was open and both dog and cat were gone. It has one of those door handles that is a lever, so my dog decided to try to open it, and he succeeded.

My whole life is my pets. I love them so much. Aegis is my 100 lb boxer boy, and Bimp is my 13 lb long haired tortoise shell cat.

As you can imagine, I love my animals! And I was SO FRIGHTENED when they were missing. We were in a far away city where we didn't know anyone. It was dark at night and the fields around the hotel were filled with rattlesnakes (we could hear them!)

I prayed so hard, and cried a lot of tears. We frantically searched the surrounding area. My niece found Aegis and he was fine. I cried tears of relief and got him back into the hotel room. As we got into the hotel room, my cat darted in from the parking lot. PHEW! They were both safe. My prayers were answered.

I guess the animals wanted to have their own little adventure.

We got them onto the plane in Houston that Monday morning, and we arrived in Panama 4 hours later. About an hour and a half drive to our new home, and we were there!

We live a couple blocks from Gorgona Beach in Panama. Aegis LOVES the beach and loves frolicking and running and splashing in the waves.

My sister back home is filling all my Purify Your Body orders and she is doing a fabulous job. I am still answering the phones from here in Panama, and emailing back and forth when my customers have questions.

I am here. For the time being. We don't know how long we will stay here in Panama, but we have no plans as of now for anything different.

My cat is now an indoor only cat, as there are so many wild street dogs and other animals that birds of prey in this area. I don't want to take any chances. We don't even let my dog out without us keeping watch. Worrywarts we are!

Creating Resistance - Using Cinnamon For The Flu?




This picture, though handmade, has a lot of truth to it. We’ve been discussing in the last two posts some of the things we are up against every day and how detoxing using our foot pads can dramatically improve health.
So why can’t we just get the flu shot and forget about it? Sounds like the easy answer. I’m not going to write about whether or not you should get the flu shot. That is a personal decision and one that I hope is paired with researching the pros and cons.
What I will discuss today are some of the “Lost Remedies” that date back to the 1800s that are starting to show their face again.
In the book, “Dissolving Illusions” by Suzanne Humphries, MD and Roman Bystrainyk, 2013, p. 427-8, they discuss remedies for the flu that date back to 1899.
In 1899 Dr. C. G. Grant observed that cinnamon protected from malaria. He recommended it for intestinal problems, typhoid, and influenza.
Cinnamon is recommended as an internal antiseptic by Dr. C. G. Grant (British Medical Journal). When in Ceylon he discovered that persons working in cinnamon gardens seemed to be immune to malaria. On the trial he found it valuable in gastroenteritis, recurrent boils, and, he thinks, in typhoid fever. He was astonished by its wonderful influence in influenza, and earnestly recommends its free use by others.
In 1907 Dr. Ross reported on his use of cinnamon oil for 16 years to help patients quickly recover from influenza. Weeks of illness from the flu were reduced to three or four days.
Ross states that for nearly sixteen years he has employed cinnamon in various forms in treating this [influenza] disease, but for many years now he has always employed the oil of Ceylon cinnamon bark…We of all of us have heard only too often of bad cases of influenza where the unhappy patients have been confined to their beds or their rooms for a fortnight, three weeks, a month, or even longer…he has invariably treated influenza with cinnamon, his patients have generally been perfectly fit to return to their avocations, whatever they may have been, within three or four days, and that in no single case has a person suffering from influenza been on his hands for more than a week.” *
*”Cinnamon Oil in the treatment of Influenza,” The Kansas City Medical Index-Lancet, vol. XXVIII, no. 1, January 1907, p. 92.
Dr. Humphries later states, “It is difficult to know exactly why cinnamon was so helpful, but today we do know that it possesses many beneficial properties, it is an antioxidant, and contains vitamins A and C and minerals like zinc, potassium, magnesium, and manganese.” p.429
Why can’t we find a medical doctor like these today?! That’s a discussion for another day. In the meantime, create resistance easily by purifying your body with detox pads while you sleep, get sufficient rest, and don’t be too stressed out about the flu. In this article from Dr. Mercola about cancer, he gives us these statistics:
  • In the early 1900s, one in 20 people developed cancer
  • In the 1940s, one in 16 people developed cancer
  • In the 1970s, it was one in 10
  • Today, it’s one in three! 


So why is cancer so prevalent now? I don't know the answer, but I can guess. Here are my guesses to the cause:

1. Toxins everywhere. In our food, in our clothes, in the air we breathe, even in our drinking water. In our makeup, shampoo, soaps, lotions, cleaning products, etc.

2. Our food supply. We have so much processed food, GMO food sprayed with Roundup that has been proven to cause cancer. Chemicals and neurotoxins have been approved by our FDA so food manufacturers can use them to get us addicted and hooked onto their food, so we eat more and buy more. Also, factory farmed meats injected with hormones, antibiotics and fed a soy and corn diet (GMO) are NOT healthy. And, we have so many fast food restaurants these days, convenience has taken over personal responsibility.

3. STRESS. This is an important one, I think. We don't take the time to just relax. Even 100 years ago, while people may have physically worked harder than us, once they were done, they recharged. They slept while the sun was down and knew the importance of rest.

And people around me wonder why I am so adamant about my choice to eat REAL food, to make my own personal care products, use homemade cleaning products, and to avoid situations where I will be exposed to toxins. 

I am worried about our future. I can't imagine things can get much worse than they are now, and yet that is the direction they are heading.

I had my mom die of cancer. I had a brother who had cancer, but thankfully is in remission. Cancer is real. We need to do what we can to avoid it at all costs. Keep our bodies healthy and detoxed.

Right now, our "doctors" and scientists are no closer to finding a cure for cancer. With all the money spent on research, death rates ARE falling, but incident rates are rising.

Processed Foods --- Natural Foods -- Learning is a Process

I remember back when I used to prepare meals out of a box, packaged dinners, frozen dinners, and store bought desserts. And I thought I was doing well for "cooking at home" instead of going out to eat at a restaurant. The commercial Yoplait yogurt I bought was good for me, right?



And then I realized there were certain ingredients I wanted to avoid, no matter what. They included MSG and Aspartame. So I started reading labels. And that meant that there were fewer "packaged" foods for me to purchase and make. No more Rice A Roni, Hamburger Helper and Stuffing mix for me.

And then I realized that there were SO many ingredients that hide MSG, like autolyzed yeast extract, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, maltodextrin, natural flavors, etc. Holy cow. What I once thought was healthy, was SO NOT HEALTHY!

And this was before I even realized how bad store bought milk was for you! (Well, I had switched to organic milk but still didn't know the extent of how bad it is for you).

I then started to make things from scratch. I was making homemade yogurt, I was making homemade bread. I was making beans and rice, and seasoning it. I cut out all soda pop, and white bread. No more sugar cereals, either. And dessert was for special occasions only.

Eventually I graduated to using raw milk (man, I was missing out all those years! This stuff is DELICIOUS!) I have made my own butter and I make my own raw milk kefir every day. I have even started buying grassfed beef, pastured eggs and poultry.

The reason why I am explaining these steps that I have taken to get to where I am now, is that it would have been so hard to go from eating packaged foods directly to making my own bone broth and fermented vegetables (which is where I am now). So don't despair. Just slowly make changes in your life, and eventually you will look back like I do, and wonder what you were thinking!

Learning is a process. It isn't like a light switch where you just flick it on.



And while I don't have any chronic health issues related to my diet, I still have issues. Sure, I am pretty healthy, and I don't get sick much. But I can't sleep well at night and I am under continuous stress all the time. Those issues result in a myriad of other problems that are created, which I am currently dealing with. I can't wait to report on that in my next blog post!

Purify Your Body Detox Foot Pads Ingredients and The Benefits

Many people ask me about what the specific ingredients do in my foot pads for detox. Let's start by sharing what my ingredients are.

Detox Foot Pad Ingredients:

  • Oak Vinegar, 5%
  • Bamboo Vinegar, 16%
  • Tourmaline, 10%
  • Houttyunia Cordata, 7%
  • Eucalyptus, 22%
  • Chitosan, 10%
  • Agicarus Mushroom, 20%
  • Saururus Chinensis, 10%
The foot pads are 5 grams each, and the ingredients make up the whole foot pad. There are absolutely no fillers. Common fillers to watch out for are Dextrin, Vegetable Fiber and Cornstarch. They all are basic starch, that, while it has some absorbing properties, it is really a cheap filler that decreases the potency of the foot pad. I use chitosan as an absorber, and it absorbs over 400x its weight in impurities and toxins, so there is no need for a cheap filler, and no need for me to promote it as an absorber.

Oak Vinegar. This vinegar is traditionally believed to improve blood circulation, which can lead to relief from fatigue, headaches, arthritis, and other chronic conditions.

Bamboo Vinegar. This is a higher end wood vinegar and a high quality pad will have more bamboo vinegar than oak vinegars. This ingredient helps pull the toxins through the lymph system.

Tourmaline. This is a mineral that emits far infrared heat and negative ions that work to relieve pain and inflammation, and help promote deep, restorative sleep.

Houttuyni Cordata. (also known as Dokudami). This is a plant that contains a variety of flavanoids and has extremely potent absorbent properties.

Eucalyptus. One thing that is very cool about eucalyptus is that if you planted a eucalyptus tree in a swamp area, it would pull out the water via its roots, and soon, the swamp would be dry. It sucks the moisture from the ground, and is extremely important in pulling the toxins through the body into the foot pads. This is the process of osmosis.

Chitosan. I mentioned earlier that chitosan (a shellfish fiber) can absorb up to 400x its weight in toxic matter. It is what is used many times during oil spills. They pour the chitosan on the surface of the water, and come back to scoop it up as it absorbs the oils and impurities.

Agaricus Mushroom. This mushroom is said to support normal immune function and to promote homeostasis. It is known to help balance blood sugar levels and alleviate allergies.

 Saururus Chinensis. This plant is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Adrenal Fatigue? Rightly So!

I remember life getting pretty hectic starting in Junior High School. I woke up at 5:30am to deliver the papers from 2 paper routes. I then went to school, did homework, coached soccer, and did chores. I tried to get as much time with my friends as well. On weekends I usually had 3 babysitting gigs lined up, I was in such high demand (I was the oldest girl of 9 kids so parents loved the experience I had) sometimes families would throw their kids together and I would be watching 5-8 kids at a time.

I didn't have much down time.

Then high school came and my first class started at 6am, and I went to school until 2:45pm, then from 3-5 I had either band practice, soccer (I played varsity from my underclass years) or track. From 5-9pm I worked at a local 5 and dime store. Then I went home and did whatever homework and chores I had, and then went to bed.

And then college came. I ended up working full time (I was the marketing coordinator for a computer company in the Silicon Valley and had to travel a lot to do trade shows) while going to school full time (and by full time I mean 18 units a semester). I really didn't have much time for myself.

Now, in my late 30s I start work at 6:30am, and work 8 hours. I also have the commitments of my side business, www.purifyyourbody.com, and that takes about 2 hours a day.

Not to mention caring for my dogs, one of which is elderly and needs special meds and attention for his seizures. Oh, and I have a husband, too, and we all know husbands need a lot of care. And taking care of the household, errands to run, home cooked meals, and my garden.

Oh, and did I mention that I help take care of my stepmom, who has dementia? Us kids all chip in during the week to help my dad out. I take her Tuesday afternoons, and I feed my parents 2-3 times a week, to make sure they get home cooked healthy meals.

And, I make all my laundry detergent, toothpaste, lotion, cleansers, etc etc. And because my friends like it, they always ask me to make lotion for them, too.

And, I have 3 different callings at church, which take up my time as well.

Suffice to say, I am exhausted ALL THE TIME.

I have cut out all sugars in my diet (I did this last September and have been true to it). I have cut out most gluten as well. So I am healthier, but the energy is still not there.

I finally went to a naturopathic doctor and bingo: ADRENAL FATIGUE. The symptoms perfectly match what I am feeling.

And so this makes me feel a bit like a loser, and this is where I have to be a bit more kind to myself. I do everything I can think of to be healthy, and yet, I get diagnosed with something as a result of all the responsibilities I put on myself, knowing I can't handle all that stress and sometimes feel so overwhelmed.

I realize I try to fit so much in my schedule. I stress and worry a LOT. I don't sleep well. But all the things I do GOOD for myself: eat REAL whole foods, following mainly the Nourishing Traditions protocols, well, none of that matters if I am running on adrenaline EVERY DAY. My adrenals are shot.

I will know more when I get the rest of my bloodwork back next week. But this has to end. I can't keep up with it.

So... I am going to be treated for this, and I WILL OVERCOME IT. Then, I will have so much energy I am so excited to even think about it! :)

I also am going to start saying no more often. I have tried it a couple times and it FELT GREAT!

I am going to try to meditate more often, too. I have some awesome CDs from www.immrama.org that help elevate you to the theta state of relaxation. Can I do it? I don't know, but I sure am going to try. If nothing else, I am a very determined woman!

And, I will continue to use and promote my detox foot pads.

In fact, here are my detox foot pads from last night: I haven't been good at wearing them for a while, so I need to start up every day again...




They should have only a little bit of dark around the edges, which lets me know that my body is clean of toxins... but the accumulated toxins from the last time I wore them really are showing themselves!

200 Chemicals Found In Newborns

I wanted to write something about how effective the detox foot pads are for babies and young children. In fact, a test by an environmental group found more than 200 chemicals (on average!) in newborn umbilical cord blood.

My detox foot patches are getting cleaner as the weeks progress

I am traveling, and what that normally means is bad food choices, stress and lack of sleep. All of these things put your body under extra duress, and many times sickness prevails -- you are in new environments with different strains of germs, your body is out of whack due to time zone changes, etc.

Last night, I wore 3 detox foot patches on each foot, for about 8 hours. This is my picture from this morning when I took them off:





I have teeny patches on the toes that are white... but I doubt they will ever become fully clean. My brain is so toxic, I have been told, hah! :)

However, on this trip I have been eating mostly gluten free, fully sugar free, and taking my vitamins. I also brought my diatomaceous earth and my french green clay to make a clay drink. I am proud of myself. I also didn't let flight delays and sitting for 4 hours at an airport get me down. So I did a lot better this time with my travels. (I am traveling for work so not as fun as if it were vacation!)

I have been better at wearing the foot pads more consistently, maybe 4-5 times per week vs. 2-3 times per week. So, I plan on continuing this, and hopefully there will be a time when the foot pads aren't even dark at all.
